The Kearns Foundation supports local communities through a small grants programme and by providing support for community organisations via a range of training and advisory services (subject to application).
Funded mainly through private donations, grants from other charities, and fundraising events, we aim to make a little money make a big difference.
We typically award small grants between £50 and £250 to individual young people aged between 11 and 21 years as well as adults in membership of a community organisation who take part in activities that help them to develop personally for a wider community benefit.
For community organisations we also offer support through a range of training workshops and advice sessions on a wide variety of relevant issues. We also offer a bursary fund to smaller community organisations so volunteers can access some of these programmes for free.
