Norfolk County Council have agreed that they will consider a financial offer from the Kearns Foundation to purchase outright all, or part, of the site at Trimingham. The Council's Business and Property Committee approved a proposal in October delegating powers to the Council's Head of Property to negotiate terms. It agreed that terms could be negotiated and if agreement was not reached by February 2019 the site would be placed on the open market at a public auction. The Foundation has set out its proposals to the Head of Property and is awaiting a response to set the purchase price for the land ahead of the Foundation launching a capital appeal. In the meantime bookings are still being taken for use of the Log Cabin which is unaffected by these activities.
